This single origin specialty coffee is grown in agroforestry systems in Peru, between 1400 and 1800 meters above sea level on the Amazonian foothills. It offers a harmonious balance of subtle acidity, moderate body, and a pleasant hint of red fruits. The coffee cherries come from 3 small-scale producer cooperatives in Peru and are grown without pesticides or chemicals. They are sourced directly at a fair price, supporting local fair trade projects. This coffee boasts full traceability, from harvest by the producers to roasting and packaging in Bordeaux by a subsidiary of the Ethiquable Cooperative. WHAT I SUPPORT: A SOLUTION TO UNEQUAL ACCESS TO LAND. The producers only own an average of 1.5 hectares of land.
