Sustainable Brand Benchmark - Amerex Group

By CommonShare

The company known as Amerex was founded back in 1946 and has since been providing quality outerwear for both men and women, as well as children. The company has been profitable ever since it started "raining" and has since then been soaring in terms of profit. Amerex has licensing agreements with some of the biggest brands in the industry, such as Jones New York, London Fog, OshKosh, Mudd, and Wrangler. In addition to outerwear, the company also produces sportswear under the label Adolfo, as well as swimwear for both children and adults under the Isababies and Bombshell labels. Amerex's products can be found in many major department stores and specialty retailers across the United States and Canada. Ira Ganger, the current chairman and president, bought out the retiring partner Fred Shvetz back in 2006.
