Al's Formal Wear is a family-run business that started in the Dallas area in 1952. Al Sankary opened the first store, and a few years later his brother-in-law Alan 'Al' Gaylor opened the first store in Houston. With the two Als working together, the business quickly grew and expanded to multiple stores across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Colorado. In September 2017, Al's Formal Wear partnered with Tip Top Tux, LLC, and under new leadership the company continues to grow, investing in technology to revolutionize the formal wear industry.
