American Colors was established in Sandusky, Ohio in 1975 as a gel coat manufacturer. However, in the mid-90s, the company decided to sell its gel coat division and instead concentrate its efforts on producing pigment dispersions. This strategic decision enabled American Colors to broaden its market share and diversify into a variety of industries. Rather than focusing on traditional brand building and marketing techniques, our focus is to provide quality products, customer service, and innovative solutions. This has built our reputation in the industries we serve, allowing us to continually grow our brand for nearly 50 years.
