ANDREAZZA & CASTELLI
It has been established in 1919 by Giovanni Andreazza and Carlo Castelli, who industrialized the weaving of cotton and hemp, which at that time was only produced by the local family craftsmanship. In fact the original title of the company was “Mechanical Weaving Andreazza & Castelli” and until the end of the second world war the production focused on apparel and work clothing fabrics, which at that time were sold directly to wholesalers or produced on behalf of a third party. Since 1956, with the coming of the second generation represented by Gianni Andreazza and Mario Castelli, the company specialized in the production of shirting fabrics. A radical change in the sales network aimed to focus more and more on shirting manufacturers which in those days were constantly expanding their business.
