Ballet Makers, also known as Capezio, is a company with over 100 years of experience in creating dance apparel and footwear. Their most popular products include ballet "pointe" shoes, ice skating costumes, and ballroom dancing apparel, which are sold online and through catalogs. In addition, the brand is also sold in store locations worldwide. The company is currently run by the family of founder Salvatore Capezio, a cobbler who made a name for himself with performers at the neighborhood's Metropolitan Opera House.
