winding Souadabscook stream. When we moved here is 2014, we decided to start a farm for our community. We want people to have choices when it comes to the food they eat, and also the food they feed their animals. We definitely didn’t grow up as farmers or homesteaders, and we have learned this life is often hard, physically tiring and devastating at times. But, it is also the rewarding, satisfying, and awesome life that we feel our family deserves. Here on the farm we raise organic free ranging meat chickens and egg chickens. We also produce thousands of certified organic square bales of hay every year. When we are not in the kitchen making real food from scratch, we are working in the garden or out doing chores.
