DELICIOUS AND EASY LOW-CARB RECIPES We know how light and delicious low-carb can be and we want to show you how you can turn your kitchen into a delicious low-carb kitchen. Low-carb should not be a sacrifice or compulsion - we want to show you how tasty and easy it can be to eat (not just losing weight) with low-carb. The most important rules are: Delicious and without hunger with lots of fun cooking to achieve your goals. Without coercion and without too great restrictions that affect the quality of life. As nutritionists, we have combined the best properties of many low-carb concepts into one philosophy - with great success. Over 5,000 of our fans and customers have successfully and demonstrably lost weight with our concept, our products and our recipes. OUR MILESTONES Recipes & Foundation Low-carb & the EoK concept How did our story start? In the course of 2013 and 2014 I (Alex) developed my own concept (today's EoK concept) quite subconsciously. During this time, as a budding low-carb nutritionist, I had tried a lot of different approaches and just couldn't find the right one. With my own rules I then lost over 20 kilos over the months and never had the "diet feeling". This is how today's EoK concept came about: Lose weight (or keep weight) with a healthy and balanced diet and that without hunger and without too strict rules and restrictions. At that time there was no carbohydrate-free food. Facebook and the recipes It all started with Facebook: We don't really know why we founded the Facebook page either. In any case, there were 200 fans somewhere and then there were 1000 and one day later it was double. This is how our first "food without carbohydrates" website with free recipes for weight loss came about in a night and fog campaign . That our low-carb fans would multiply so quickly ... we didn't expect that. In the first month, greedy low-carb fans wrote to us via the messenger. A low-carb cookbook was required . The first cookbook And so it didn't take long before the best low-carb recipes ended up in a separate cookbook . Back then, the book was only available online on Amazon. The reasons for this were mainly logical. Eating carbohydrates-free wasn't a real undertaking. With the great support of our fans, the book ... WOHOOO! ... made it to first place in the Amazon bestseller list. It was thanks to this wonderful success that we were able to develop so well and that food without carbohydrates became our own company. Our goal: to convince you of our concept and to spread the healthy diet with healthy and the right amount of carbohydrates. Low-carb online shop After more than half a year we found what we were looking for: Our own mill for our own low-carb products . With the best ingredients and raw materials in our own mixes and creations, we were able to take our first order in the online shop on July 12, 2016. We were then able to secure organic certification and still stand behind the quality and craftsmanship in our products to this day . Eating without carbohydrates Hi, it's us, Alex and Anne. We founded Essen ohne Carbohydrate in November 2014. Alex: Since my own diet and many experiments in the low-carb area, I wanted to share my experiences and recipes with everyone. Due to the (actually) unexpected success of the blog, we are now offering all low-carbers tasty and simple recipes that fit quickly and easily into everyday life. Nevertheless, there is also a large selection of more elaborate recipes. For an overview, we have divided all recipes into many different categories such as time of day, type of dish, special holidays, training and rest days, baking recipes, origin and difficulty. Anne:For me, holistic means to be aware of what I consume on a daily basis, a nutritious diet that ensures both dynamic physical and mental health. I am a staunch animal lover and support the doctrine that people should live without exploiting other living beings. My recipes are therefore vegetarian or vegan. Over the years I have tried a lot of diets, ate some meat, and followed a vegan diet for a while and relieved myself by 5kg in a week with the magical cabbage soup. In the last few years I have developed a yogic lifestyle, which includes a balanced and pure diet and respect for our fellow human beings and animals. Everything that is green and grows in my garden will most likely end up on my plate. I love food and all kinds of creatures on this planet and I am an active advocate of the #foodie and #cleaneating movement. My goal is to inspire with my delicious and 100% plant-based recipes and to give suggestions for a meat-free diet, in which there is NOTHING missing and in which you will not miss anything meaty. After almost 2 years as an active food blogger, we were proud to count almost 26 million page views and over 750,000 Facebook fans (as of January 2017). In addition, there are now over 50,000 followers on Instagram. Thanks to the high demand and positive feedback, the first own cookbook was published as a self-publisher at the end of October 2016. Shortly afterwards and after many requests from all of you, a small low-carb beginner's guide was published on Amazon. And now, in July 2016, I can proudly announce that my first real cookbook has been completely revised and expanded with 15 additional recipes, and will be republished by Goldmann Verlag.
