Sampling and Production
Fashion-Enter has two units for sampling and production: the Factory and the Fashion Studio. The Factory is a large-scale production unit that can produce up to 40,000 garments a week for speed of response fashion. The Factory is Sedex approved and follows ethical and sustainable standards of garment manufacturing. The Factory works with leading retailers, etailers, designers and new business start-ups, such as ASOS, N Brown, Simply B, I Saw it First, Brora, Louisa Parris and Matthew Williamson. The Factory also partners with Kornit Digital for on-demand textile production and Zund for cutting technology. The Fashion Studio is a smaller unit that offers grading, sampling and small production runs. The Fashion Studio is also Sedex approved and has a minimum order quantity of one. The Fashion Studio caters to emerging and established designers who need more flexibility and quality control.
Education and Training
Fashion-Enter operates the UK's first SFA approved Fashion Technology Academy, which provides a range of qualifications at Levels 1 to 5 covering the garment life cycle, including stitching, production, pattern cutting and tailoring. The Fashion Technology Academy works alongside the Factory and offers apprenticeships, taster courses and masterclasses. Fashion-Enter also launched the Tailoring Academy in 2019, which is a state-of-the-art clothing manufacturing and training facility that specializes in ready to wear and bespoke tailoring. The Tailoring Academy works with clients such as Gieves and Hawke, Harrods and Ralph and Russo. Fashion-Enter also works with local authorities to create new training and job opportunities, such as the Leicester Fashion Technology Academy and the Newtown Fashion Technology Academy.
Mentoring and Support
Fashion-Enter offers business mentoring and support to both new and existing fashion businesses. Fashion-Enter has a team of industry experts who can provide advice and guidance on various aspects of the fashion business, such as strategy, design, product development, sourcing, production, finance, marketing, legal and sales. Fashion-Enter also runs FashionCapital.co.uk, which is the UK's leading portal for the fashion industry. FashionCapital.co.uk provides news, insights, resources, events and networking opportunities for fashion professionals and enthusiasts. Fashion-Enter also offers memberships that include discounts, access and promotion across its services and platforms.
Sustainability and Social Impact
Fashion-Enter is committed to sustainability and social impact in the fashion and textiles industry. Fashion-Enter follows ethical and environmental standards in its production units, such as using organic and recycled fabrics, reducing waste and energy consumption, and ensuring fair wages and working conditions for its staff.
