Global Uprising, PBC is the legal name of Cotopaxi, an outdoor brand with a humanitarian mission at its core. Founded in 2014 by Davis Smith, Chad Whittaker, and Stephan Jacob, Cotopaxi creates innovative products and experiences that fund sustainable poverty alleviation, move people to do good, and inspire adventure.

Cotopaxi also follows the Pledge 1% model, which means it allocates 1% of its annual revenue, 1% of its employee time, and 1% of its product to support its social mission.
