About Greenyarn

Greenyarn, the pioneering Vietnamese sustainable textiles company, takes pride in its commitment to promoting eco-friendly practices within the textile industry. The company has been a frontrunner in sourcing sustainable materials, with a primary focus on natural yarns and recycled yarns derived from post-consumer materials like plastics. In an effort to minimize carbon footprints, Greenyarn also pays meticulous attention to the production processes of its yarns, incorporating modern technologies that align with eco-friendly principles.

Founded by Dave Quách, a visionary individual with roots deeply embedded in Saigon's textile heritage, Greenyarn traces its origins to Bảo Lân Textiles. Mr. Quach's upbringing in Saigon's largest fabric market fueled his ambition to create a unique and sustainable business. With a profound appreciation for nature, fostered during years spent studying and working in New Zealand, he established Bảo Lân Textiles as a wholly Vietnamese-owned sustainable textiles company. Despite the initial challenges associated with manufacturing environmentally friendly yarns, the company eventually evolved into Greenyarn, focusing on supplying eco-friendly yarns to the Vietnamese market.

Over the course of a decade, Greenyarn has been unwavering in its commitment to research and offer a diverse range of eco-friendly yarns and fabrics. The company proudly presents five main collections for conscious consumers: Cellulose yarn, Organic yarn, Recycled yarn, Fancy yarn, and Special yarn.

With a vision that sees sustainability as the future, Greenyarn aspires to be a leading force in the realm of sustainable fashion. Their mission is rooted in becoming a reliable partner for Vietnamese textile companies, supporting and guiding them on the path to sustainable fashion. Greenyarn aims to democratize sustainability, making it accessible and affordable, thereby eliminating the perception of sustainable fashion as a luxury.
