Habermaass Family

Habermaass GmbH has a long and successful history making toys and children's furniture. The company operates through several divisions, making wooden toys and games, outdoor equipment, and youth furniture. Its products are distributed under the HABA brand name to 6,000 specialized dealers in 20 countries. The company also has a mail order division, JAKO-O, which offers a range of toy products for children up to 10 years old. In addition, the Wehrfritz division supplies residential furniture, playground equipment, toys, and craft supplies. Habermaass GmbH is owned by Klaus Habermaass, whose father started the business in the 1930s.
