Founders Jimmy and Jerry Erneston formed J&J Produce in 1983. From the beginning, they decided J&J would take a different approach, to set them apart from other family members in local distribution, by connecting local farmers and farms to wholesale distributors. OuStory Our legacy is two brothers who were committed to exceeding expectations. In the years since, a few things have changed, but one thing remains the same — It's All About The Farm. In the early 2000s, J&J began investing in farming and partnering with farmers, to create a regional footprint with a year round supply. Now, J&J Family of Farms is strategically positioned as a national supplier, with a more robust offering of products year round. Our family of farms now grows on over 14,000 acres of farmland and operate packing and cooling facilities in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Arizona and Mexico. Our progressive mindset to stay in front of an ever-changing industry drives our Trophy Experience. Our vertically integrated business is a farm-to-fork approach that starts with expertise in farming directly. We maintain full supply-chain visibility with our grower-partners who also have a passion for providing consistent produce to our customers’ specs, grown and shipped with food safety as our chief standard of excellence. As family farmers we believe in sustainable and socially responsible farming practices, and in taking care of our people. Our sales and sourcing teams, supported by our sister logistics company, Trophy Transport, are committed to providing the best produce.
