The Cato

The Cato is a fashion retailer with over 1,300 stores across the southeastern US. It offers private label casualwear, career clothing, outerwear, footwear and accessories for women of all sizes, as well as girls and juniors. The Cato typically locates its stores in shopping centers anchored by a Wal-Mart or other major discount retailer or supermarket. John Cato, the company's chairman and largest shareholder, founded the company in 1946.
