Thygesen Textile Vietnam
Thygesen Textile Vietnam is an integral part of the Thygesen Textile Group (TTG), a conglomerate formed in 1991 through the amalgamation of three local, family-owned companies. The roots of this group trace back to a modest 90 m² production facility in Ikast, Denmark, established in 1931 by Carla Soren Thygesen. Originally dedicated to producing underwear for children and women, the company steadily evolved into a leading textile manufacturer with a global reach.
Over the course of almost a century, TTG has expanded its footprint to include eight international subsidiaries engaged in various facets of the textile industry. This includes a Vietnamese manufacturing arm, Thygesen Textile Vietnam, and a stake in the globally recognized German company, Müller Textil GmbH, specializing in spacer fabrics for the automotive sector. The group's core competencies span the development, production, and sale of knitted/space fabrics, hosiery, and finished garments. With a workforce exceeding 1,400 individuals, the group operates across Denmark, Vietnam, Germany, Slovakia, Turkey, the USA, Mexico, China, Korea, and Japan.
Thygesen Textile Vietnam, formerly known as Thygesen Fabrics Vietnam Company Ltd., was established in September 2004, initially situated in Vinh Tuy Industrial Zone, Hanoi Capital, before relocating to Hung Yen Province in August 2009. To augment its capabilities, the company invested in Thygesen Sewing Vietnam (TSV), a new garment sewing factory established in July 2016.
Leveraging over 90 years of experience, Thygesen Textile Vietnam has emerged as a leading manufacturer in Vietnam, specializing in OEM/ODM solutions. Embracing core values such as Quality, Trust, Honesty, Decency, Sustainability, and Innovation, the company has cultivated a robust manufacturing capacity supported by an extensive network of material suppliers, cutting-edge technology in two factories, a skilled workforce, and professional administration.
