Trek Bicycle is a company that designs and manufactures high-end bicycles. It sells its products through independent specialty bicycle shops around the world. Trek offers mountain, road, trail, downhill, children's, and fat bikes under the Trek, Electra, and Bontrager brands. The company also makes electric-assist bikes that allow riders to go farther and faster, as well as eco-designed bikes made using low-impact manufacturing and recycled parts. In addition to bicycles, Trek sells technical gear, parts, accessories, and clothing. Trek was founded in 1976 by two guys who wanted to make the best bicycles in the world.
