Visionquest National

VisionQuest National is a company that seeks to reform juvenile offenders through a variety of programs that focus on outdoor challenges and wilderness exploration. The company's treatment approach includes a focus on education and counseling, complemented with an emphasis on nature, physical fitness, and cultural history. It also includes Native American values and ceremonies; a vision quest is a Plains Indian coming of age rite. VisionQuest has programs in Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, New Jersey, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania. The company was founded in 1973 by Bob Burton and Steve Rogers, both of whom are ex-corrections employees. VisionQuest is employee-owned.
