We've traveled across Southeast Asia to find the best fair trade coconut farmers so you don't have to. By working with farmers that promote ethical, fair trade coconut production processes, we are confident about producing the highest quality bulk coconut flour, sugar, and other products. Our products are USDA Organic, Kosher, and Fair Trade USA Certified. Ingredients Founded in 2014, The Coconut Cooperative connects organic coconut farmers to markets across the world. In tropical and subtropical countries, coconut farming plays a major economic role. While the spike in global demand of coconuts and coconut-based products, like bulk flour and sugar, has driven production, it is imperative to ensure the long-term sustainability of one of Southeast Asia's most precious resources. To this end, we directly contribute and partner with organizations across Southeast Asia to ensure that farmers are benefiting from the increased demand, aging coconut trees are being replaced, and the land on which coconuts grow is being stewarded. Quality Management Sustainable and transparent farming practices are the foundation of our fair trade coconut operations. Community leaders educate our farmers on the importance of following globally recognized food safety standards, and certification bodies visit and perform regular audits. All of our coconut flour, sugar, and other products are USDA Organic, Kosher, BRC, and Fair Trade USA certified. The Coconut Cooperative promotes open communication among families and a sharing of best practices.
